We hope that the pictures below give you a good idea of the gite and it's surroundings.

Our local town of St Mathieu is just a few kilometres down the road and has a bank with ATM, Post Office, Intermarché supermarket, 2 boulangeries, bar/restaurants, a tobacconists/gift shop and a good few other shops. Nearer still there is a general store in Maisonnais sur Tardoire.

Within 20 minutes or so you have the larger towns of Rochechouart, St Junien, Nontron, Montbron and Cussac with the city of Limoges
with various retail parks along it's perimeters boatsing some of the largest retailers in France.
